Becoming Catholic (RCIA)

What Brought You Here?

Chances are, you are here because you have given more than a passing thought to joining the Catholic Church. Know that this is no accident, but the result of God working in your heart. God knows what the deepest desires of all of our hearts are: for love, community, purpose and belonging. We believe wholeheartedly that God has given us the deepest answer to these desires in the Catholic Church, which was founded by Jesus Christ to help all to be saved. We would love to walk with you as you continue your journey and come to know Jesus and His Church better.

The Process

In our parishes, as in all Catholic parishes, we have a program called RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). This program runs from the Fall to the Spring and gives you the opportunity to learn more about the Church’s rich teachings, history and way of worship. We hope that this process will help you to encounter Jesus Christ in His Church and to have the opportunity to become a full member of that Church. The RCIA process is for anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith–even if you are already Catholic!

Meeting Information

Sessions are held Sundays in the Parish Meeting Room at 12:00 noon. Contact Deacon Doug Mould at the Parish Office for more information at 740-622-8817.
